In this video, we will learn how to register option products.
First,
there are a few things you need to prepare to
register a product. First, you need to find the product you want to register.
After finding it, search to see if the product exists on Sophie.
Here, you can check the market and price.
Next, you need to
check the margin using Excel.
Then, you need to write the product
name in English. You can
do this using Google Translate. You also
need an English description of the product.
Next, we
need images. For images, we
create a main image, a thumbnail image, and additional images.
Regarding videos, they are optional,
but I will
create a YouTube video later to introduce them.
Once the English product name, detailed
description, and images are complete, you need to
register the product in Seller Center.
Regarding option images,
when adding options, you must include option
images. I will
explain this later, but you must include option images so that the
option images used when uploading the product...
Since it is not mandatory to include an option image, I would like to
introduce the difference between including and not including one.
Today, we are going to cover registering an option product. The
product I will be uploading today is the
Innisfree Dewy Tint Lip
Balm. This product comes in a
total of five colors,
and I will upload the product.
First, as I
saw in the notepad earlier, I had already found and entered the product to be registered. I
found the registered product and
searched for it on Shopee. So, you can
proceed with checking the market price or the price. Let's take a look at the margin Excel
spreadsheet.
For this product,
I looked up the high price range. The
existing selling price is
about 14 Singapore dollars, but if you
look now, the
same product is being sold on Coupang for
82,990 with Rocket Delivery.
Because of Rocket Delivery, I will zoom in on the Excel spreadsheet as you see now to show
you. Please
enter the product name
like this. As for the product purchase cost, it is
82,990. Since this is Rocket Delivery and
free shipping, and because

Please enter 88290. As for the weight,
this product weighs 3.2g, which is the
product weight. The
weight we are entering here is the
weight after packaging is complete. Although it might not exactly reach
100g when we personally check the weight after packaging, we have
set it to a generous 100g. For the
product purchase link,
please copy and paste it into the address bar at the top. Once you have
finished entering the item list into the Excel sheet, please click the SG Singapore
sheet below. You can then verify that the
purchase cost and
weight have been automatically entered in section 4.
I have already
entered the selling price and checked 14; normally, it would be a
blank space like this.
In the blue section for the selling price, the registration
reference cost is currently set to 14.99 dollars. You can
confirm that if you enter around 15 dollars here, the actual displayed price is 16.35 Singapore dollars. This
16.35 Singapore dollars is what you are
currently viewing You
can consider this as the price displayed on the Shopee site. It is currently
shown at 16.35 Singapore Dollars. As I
mentioned earlier, since the
average price for this product is around
14 to 15 dollars, it might be
a bit expensive, but I will still
list it.
If you factor in the VAT, you can consider the profit margin to be around 20%. As you can
see above,
after searching on Shopee, you
can check the margin using Excel as shown here. In
the case shown now,
I have already checked the margin for Singapore; if you
wish to list it for the other eight countries as well, I have
checked Singapore. Then, for
Thailand, go in and enter the registration
reference cost in section 4. It is 362
baht because of the exchange rate. If you
enter 362 baht as is,
considering the VAT, it is about
15%, or roughly 20% at most. I
recommend this when you are first listing it, and
later, if
sales increase... You
can increase your profit margin a bit more. From
my perspective, a margin of around
30% would be ideal. If you plan to
sell aggressively in the beginning, you should
aim for around 10%, or between 15% and 20% would be
good. So, let's try
raising it to about 360 or 370, making it about 18%. You can
enter Thailand in this way, and then
enter Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Brazil, and Mexico.
Today, in this video, I will
only upload
Singapore and Thailand. I will upload Singapore and
Thailand like this. For your reference, I will
mention some precautions to keep in mind when registering option products. I will
write down the precautions in a notepad.
Regarding precautions,
when registering option products,
prices may occasionally differ depending on the product. If the prices are
different, you must
add a cell in Excel. For
example,
I have found an example;
this is a
product called Mediheal Pae. Originally, as you can
see, the
main product was 100... You can consider this a product
sold with 100 pads plus a refill. As you
can see, the Pad Only is
listed at $20, and the
Pad Plus Refill is
shown as 38.73 Singapore Dollars. It
doesn't matter if the options have the same price like this; in that
case, you can register the product as a single line in the cell.
However,
as in the example I just showed you, you might
sell the Pad and the regular main product, or just the refill. If you
sell only the refill, the prices are all different.
For instance, as I will
show you,
the prices are different for the Mediheal Pad Main Product, Mediheal Pad Pad Main Product Plus Refill, and Mediheal Pad Head Refill.
Since the prices are different, let me
give you an example: if the
main product is 15,000 won, the
Main Product Plus Refill is
2,000 won, and the Refill is about
12,000 won, you must
go to the Singapore sheet and
set the prices for each separately. You need to do this for
Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
So,
when listing these products as options... You
could upload them separately to make them three products, but since I
am combining them into a single product for registration, it
takes longer. Because it
takes more time and the process itself is
a bit time-consuming, I hope you keep this in mind.
For the products I am uploading today,
since they all have the same price,
I have set it to 8,200 KRW and 990 KRW. So far, as you can
see, I have
checked the margins in Excel.
As for the English product name and description, I had them
prepared before starting the video, so I will
use those as is. I also have
images created, so I will use those as well.
Regarding videos and images,
I usually create them using Canvas and Camber, and I will
explain that in a separate YouTube video later.
Now, assuming everything is ready in the Seller Center, let's
proceed with registering the products.
Once you enter the Seller Center, I will zoom in a bit. You
can register the products all at once by clicking "Ad New Products" in the left menu, or after entering Global SKU, as you can
see now, you can click "Global SKU" at the top to register the products You can also
add items. I will
click the AdNew Prompt to
proceed with adding products. Now that
you have entered here, let's start by
adding products.
First, let's add images.
Click on [Music] under AdNew Image, and then I will
add the images I have previously downloaded. Please
add the main image and thumbnail image first.
As for the option images, I always prefer to
add separate images for each option so that I can capture
or download them.
So, I think it would be best to create the main image and
thumbnail images using Canvas or
Camber beforehand, and then
add the images for the other options. As you can
see, the
images I download are somewhat
horizontal. You should keep in mind that even if an image is not strictly square, if it is horizontally
long, it will
automatically convert to a square size when added, and the
empty spaces will be filled with white. I have
added a total of six images like this. As
for videos, I
won't add them separately for now. For videos, please
make them between 10 and 60 seconds in length. Okay, let's try
writing an English product name and detailed description. I've created one; I've
entered the English product name and added the names for each option. When you
enter the product name like this,
Shopee recommends a category for you, as you can see below.
I will check the first category at the very
top, "
Lip Tint."
After checking it, if you scroll
down, you
need to enter the product attribute values.
You should only fill in the items marked with an asterisk (*) as required fields.
After entering the brand, I
will enter "Innisfree" next to the "Ready" section.
After entering that,
regarding the "Permanent Life" setting,
since cosmetics typically last for over two years,
I will enter 24 months. For now, you
can just check the asterisked items and move on.
Below, under "Sales Information,"
if there are options, you can
click "Press Enable Variation" to add them. For
products without options, you can
enter the price directly into the "Global SK Price" field. Since this
is a product with options, Let's
try adding an option by clicking Enable. For
the
option name here, you can enter two main types. For
example, in the
case of a T-shirt, there is the color option. We have
separated the colors as shown here, and to allow you to
select a size after choosing a color, if
you look at the options, you can
click Variation 2 and
enter the size here.
Many people get a bit confused about the size part at first. You should
enter the color in the first part of the option name. If there is another option, such as size, then
enter the size here, and then just fill in the
option details below. For
instance, if you have
colors like red, blue, and yellow, enter "Red," "
Red," "Blue," "Blue," "
Blue." As you can see right now, a
new blank space will
keep appearing every time you add something. Since a
new option is created every time you type "Yellow," please keep this in mind.
Similarly, for the size,
you can write it out as Small, Medium, Large, and so on. You can
leave the blank space at the end as is. Just
give it to me. I think it should work. As for the option names, let me give
you a note:
you can enter up to 50 total options. Since there are
50 possible combinations, the product of the
first option's count and the
second option's count must
not exceed 50. So, you
can enter up to 50 when using a single option. For
example, if there are six colors and
eight sizes, let's say there are ten sizes.
Then 6 * 10 equals
60.
Since 60 exceeds 50, you should just keep in
mind that the maximum is 50. Now, let's go back and
enter the option values for this product. I will
delete the second option and, with the color selected,
enter the option values I wrote in the detailed description earlier. You can
name them by copying and pasting like this: "1. Pink."
You can enter them like this: 3. 4. 5. 4. 5. If you
look below, it
automatically handles what I have entered.
Five option values have been added, and
here you need to enter the Global SK Price. For this
part, please enter the total amount including packaging costs and shipping agent fees within the
product purchase cost in Singapore from our Excel spreadsheet.
We have
now
entered four option values, and you
can see that they have all been automatically added. Regarding the color, if
you look below, you
can add images for each product.
I strongly recommend that you enter this information.
Although it is optional, there is a significant difference between including and
not including images in these options.
Especially for cosmetics, since colors vary
depending on the option, it is
helpful to represent them with images.
Therefore, I will demonstrate the information by color that I previously downloaded. I will enter numbers
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 for each color. You can consider
adding images for each option like this—1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, and 5—as the
key point.
Next, regarding the weight, it is
here... You absolutely must not stir it. You should
n't enter 100;
since this is 100g, you must
enter 0.1. In the "Date 10"
section, please
enter the number 2. After that, I will
click "Create" and "
Publish." When you click "Create," as you can see now, it
asks you to select eight countries. Since I added
two countries, Thailand and Singapore, earlier in Excel, I will only
check those two for now. Now, let me show you how to enter the amounts.
After clicking "Next," you can see

look at it now from Excel,
if you
want to offer a discount—specifically a 50% discount—you should
enter 30. If
you don't want to run a discount promotion, you can enter 15 dollars. Assuming I'm
not running a discount promotion, I will list it at
this price. For
Singapore, enter 10, 5 dollars, and
15 dollars. For Toegok, you
should enter 370 here. They are almost the
same, right? After entering them like this,
click "Confirm." Just click Confirm, and
you're

explain the key points one last time and wrap things up.
Regarding option images, it is
best to prepare one for each option. Also, for products where prices differ by option, you must create
a separate column in Excel to fill them out. Please keep
this in mind. If you
practiced uploading single products initially, please note that handling option
images definitely
takes longer. Therefore, once
you become somewhat familiar with the process, I
recommend registering products using options.
