관세 및 국제 무역 업데이트
새롭게 변화하는 무역 규정이 여러분의 비즈니스에 영향을 미칠 수 있습니다.
- 4월 2일, 미국은 모든 수입품에 대해 기본 10%의 관세를 부과한다고 발표했으며, 여러 국가에서의 수입품에 대해서는 추가 관세도 부과된다고 밝혔습니다.
- 이 기본 10% 관세는 4월 5일부터 시행되었고, 개별 국가에 대한 더 높은 관세는 중국을 제외하고 7월 9일까지 일시 보류되었습니다. 중국산 대부분의 제품에는 145%의 고율 관세가 적용됩니다.
- 캐나다와 멕시코에서의 수입품은 USMCA 무역 협정에 부합할 경우 관세가 면제됩니다. 협정 비준수 시에는 25%의 관세가 부과됩니다.
- 미국은 또한 5월 2일부터 중국에서의 수입품에 대해 $800 이하의 물품에 대해 면세로 입국할 수 있는 디 미니미스(de minimis)처리를 폐지한다고 발표했습니다. 5월 2일 이후, $800(약 110만 원)이하의 우편물은 120%의 관세 또는 품목당 $100/약 13만 원(6월 2일부터는 $200/약 26만 원)로 과세됩니다.

- 가능한 세율을 나란히 비교합니다.
- 가장 정확한 코드 분류를 선택합니다.
정확한 관세율을 얻기 위해 Shopify 관리자에서 각 제품에 HS 코드와 원산지를 추가해야 합니다. 또한 미국으로 수입할 때 상업 송장에도 HS 코드를 사용해야 합니다.
관세 처리 최적화하기
국제 수입 배송 시, 관세 및 수입세에 대한 비용을 어떻게 처리할지 전략을 세우는 것이 다음 단계입니다. 국제 배송 시 다음과 같은 2가지 주요 접근 방식이 있습니다.
- 도착지 인도 조건(DAP): 고객이 배송 시 관세 및 세금을 납부하는 방식입니다. 이 방법은 판매자가 사전에 비용을 부담하지 않아도 된다는 장점이 있지만, 고객에게는 예상치 못한 수수료가 발생할 수 있고 배송 지연으로 이어질 수 있습니다.
- 관세 지급 인도 조건(DDP): 결제 단계에서 관세 및 세금을 계산하여 미리 징수하는 방식입니다. 이 방식은 배송 시 추가 비용 없이 투명한 구매 경험을 제공하며, Shopify에서는 판매자가 이 비용을 직접 부담하거나 결제 시 고객에게 부과할 수 있습니다.
국제 시장에서의 관세 및 세금 관리
Shopify 판매자는 관리자에서의 관세 계산기를 사용하여 관세 및 수입세를 추정할 수 있습니다. 예상 비용을 반영하여 제품 가격에 세금을 포함시키거나 결제 시 고객에게 관세를 투명하게 표시할 수 있습니다. 배송 시에 추가 비용이 발생하지 않는다는 것을 명확하게 하면, 고객은 보다 안심하고 구매를 완료할 수 있습니다.
방법은 다음과 같습니다.
- 관리자에서 설정 > 관세 및 수입세로 이동하여 결제 시 세금 및 수입세 징수를 활성화합니다.
- 결제 시 올바른 수입세 및 관세율이 적용되도록 제품에 원산지를 추가합니다.
- 제품이 무엇인지 식별하고 통관 지연을 피하기 위해 HS 코드를 추가합니다.
HS 코드와 원산지를 CSV를 통해 일괄 추가하거나 제품 페이지에서 수동으로 추가할 수 있습니다.
수입세 및 관세 납부를 선택한 후, 아래 이미지와 같이 결제 시 이를 별도의 항목으로 표시할 수 있습니다.
또는 아래 이미지에 표시된 것처럼 세금 포함 가격을 사용하고 고객에게 결제 시 관세 및 수입세가 상품 가격에 포함되어 있다는 사실을 명시할 수 있습니다.
관세 지급 인도 조건(DDP) 라벨 구매하기
결제 단계에서 관세 및 수입세를 계산하고 징수했다면, 국제 주문에 대해서는 도착지 인도 조건(DAP) 배송 라벨이 아닌 관세 지급 인도 조건(DDP) 배송 라벨을 구매해 사용해야 합니다. 이렇게 하면 고객이 관세 및 수입세를 이중으로 지불하지 않도록 방지할 수 있습니다.
현재는 제3자 앱을 통해 DDP 라벨을 구매할 수 있으며, 곧 Shopify에서도 DHL eCommerce 및 DHL Express와 같은 운송업체를 통해 DDP 라벨을 구매할 수 있게 될 예정입니다.
배송 시 고객에게 추가 요금이 발생하지 않도록 배송 정책을 업데이트하는 것을 잊지 마세요.
도착지 인도 조건(DAP) 라벨 구매하기
결제 시 관세를 징수하지 않거나 DDP 라벨을 사용하지 않기로 선택한 경우, 도착지 인도 조건(DAP) 라벨(관세 미지급 배송 또는 DDU라고도 함)을 사용할 수 있습니다. DAP 배송의 경우, 판매자가 제품 배송에 대한 책임을 지고, 고객이 배송 시점에 수입세 및 관세를 지불합니다.
미국 및 캐나다에서 주문을 처리할 때는 Shopify를 통해 DAP 배송 라벨을 구매할 수 있습니다.
DAP 배송 라벨 사용을 위한 팁은 다음과 같습니다.
- 고객이 배송 시 관세 및 수입세, 잠재적인 처리 수수료를 지불해야 한다는 점을 명확히 안내합니다.
- 이 정보를 배송 정책 및 주문 확인 이메일에 포함시킵니다.

<li>4월 2일, 미국은 모든 수입품에 대해 기본 10%의 관세를 부과한다고 발표했으며, 여러 국가에서의 수입품에 대해서는 추가 관세도 부과된다고 밝혔습니다.</li>
<li>이 기본 10% 관세는 4월 5일부터 시행되었고, 개별 국가에 대한 더 높은 관세는 중국을 제외하고 7월 9일까지 일시 보류되었습니다. 중국산 대부분의 제품에는 145%의 고율 관세가 적용됩니다.</li>
<li>캐나다와 멕시코에서의 수입품은 USMCA 무역 협정에 부합할 경우 관세가 면제됩니다. 협정 비준수 시에는 25%의 관세가 부과됩니다.</li>
