[subtitle-meta] lang=en auto=False Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today, I’ll show you how to automate your Shopify customer service using AI. No coding required. With just a few steps, you can set up a chatbot that answers customer questions, checks inventory, and helps with orders, all automatically. The best part? It's completely free to get started. I partnered with Jotform to show you how this works using their official integration with Shopify. Let's dive in. Before we begin, you'll need to have an existing Shopify store. If you don't have one yet, I've linked a video in the description down below that walks you through how to set up a store step by step. Now, honestly, Shopify is one of the easiest ways to sell products online. Once you have a store up and running and you have some existing products, visit the link right here at the bottom of the screen. On this page, let's click on Get the App. It's free. And right down below, let's click on Install. Here you'll need to give access to the app. This all looks good. So down below, let's click on Install again. Here we need to click on Connect. Down below, let's click on Allow. Now that we've installed the Shopify AI agent, let's get it set up. If you have an existing Jotform agent, you could connect it right here. But for this video, I'm starting from scratch, so I'll make sure to select this item. Down below, let's click on Next. On this screen, you can choose what skills your AI chatbot should have. Right up on top, I'll make sure to check Product Discovery, and right here, Customer Support. Now I find those are the most useful for answering questions and helping customers navigate the store. Now, if you'd like, you can also check on Order Management and also Engagement. That way you could help track packages or recommend products and also promotions. Now keep in mind, you can always come in and you can add some of these different skills later on. Once you make your selection, down at the bottom, let's click on Next. Up above, you can describe what you want the AI chatbot to do. Mine says, help customers find the perfect cookies and treats from the Kevin Cookie Company and also provide helpful answers to common questions. I think that sounds great. Keep in mind, you can go through, and you can modify all the text that you see right here. This sets the tone for how the chatbot will respond to customers. Once you're happy with your prompt, down below, click on Create. Now that we've created the agent, let's look at a few of the personalization options. This is the fun part now. We can choose an avatar that fits your store style. Let's go with this fox with some cookies. I mean, that's really on brand. Then we could give the agent a name. Let's go with Kevin. And you could also write a short role description. I'll go with Kevin Cookie Company Online Assistant. You can also set things like the chat response length, the default language, tone of voice, and even the greeting message. Or on the right-hand side, we can see a preview of our chatbot coming together, and there's that greeting message. Let's go to the very top and then click into the Agent Style tab. The Agent Style tab lets you customize the look and feel of your chatbot to match your brand. Right here, you can choose a color scheme. I'm going to go with this blue option. That's pretty close to our official brand colors here at the Kevin Cookie Company. Down below, you can also set specific values for the background, the chat background, the font, and even the font color. You can customize the position, whether the chat should open by default, and even add a pulsing effect to the avatar for more visibility. Just like we saw on the last screen, you can preview your changes over on the right. Once you're happy with the appearance, let's move on to training. I'll click on this tab. Training just means giving your chatbot the information it needs to answer questions accurately. Jotform does most of this automatically, but you can also add custom answers if needed. Right at the top, we can see that the agent already has auto-trained knowledge by using everything on your store, like all the items, collections, campaigns, product details, and more. You don't need to manually upload any of this. It's already synced. Of course, you can also add more knowledge to your agent. To do this, let's click on the Manage Knowledge button. Here, let's click on Add New Knowledge. There are all sorts of different ways that you could give more knowledge to your agent. Here's an example. You could add text. You could add a website link. You could upload files, Q&A pairs. You could even add a YouTube video, one of my favorites. And down below, you can add help desk information. Chances are, if you have knowledge that you would like to give to your agent, you'll find a way to provide it. Let's try adding some Q&A pairs. I'll click on this option. On this page, I'll type in a question that frequently comes up. What's your most popular cookie? And down below, I'll type in the answer. Of course, it's the double chocolate chip. Down below, I'll click on Save. Let's add one more. Up on top, I'll click on Add Knowledge. And here, let's type in another question. What's your return policy? I get this question so many times. It'd be really nice if the agent could just answer it. Down below, let's type in the response. And then, let's click on Save. I can now go in and continue adding more knowledge, but I think for now, this is fine. Let's now jump back to the Shopify tab. Now that we've added some knowledge, let's scroll down a little bit and we have another category called Shopify Skills, and you could toggle these on or off. For example, do you want to show or recommend products directly in the chat? Would you like to be able to add and update a customer's cart? Or down below, you even have the option to toggle on or off showing order status to a customer. And if we scroll down a little bit more, there's another category called Agent Skills. Now, you can enable things like Take Notes. This way, the chatbot can flag any key customer issues that you specify. Down here, you could also set it up to be able to escalate to human. Maybe you want to pass a conversation to a live agent. You have that option. Now, these are just two examples of different agent skills. Let's have a quick preview at some other skills that you could add. Let's click here. Here, you can see a preview of all the different available tools. There are many different options. Now, one of my favorites right up on top, you could have your agents create a support ticket using Zendesk all automatically. That's pretty cool. Now that everything is all set up, it's time to test it out. Over on the right-hand side, we can now test out our chatbot. And let's try asking a question. Let's say, what's your return policy? Now, if you remember earlier, I added this as knowledge to the chatbot. Once you type in your question, click on Send. And look at that. That's exactly the answer I would have given and matches the knowledge that we provided. That's perfect. Now, this is a great way to confirm that your AI agent is pulling the right data and responding in the tone that you've configured. If something feels off, you can always go back, and you could adjust the training data or tweak the tone or chat style. Once you're all happy with how it's responding, we're ready to hit publish. Let's scroll to the top of the page and here we have the publish button. Let's click on that. And congratulations, your new customer support agent is now live on your website. Over on the left-hand side, I can see that it's currently activated. And here we could preview what it looks like directly on the site. It's looking good. Now, as a next step, try interacting with it just like your customers would. Feel free to ask about product availability, shipping or returns. This is a great chance to see how it performs in context and then make any final adjustments if needed. Now, here's the beautiful part. This is running on autopilot. Your customers now have instant support 24/7. Let's now go back to the main Shopify dashboard. You're probably interested in knowing how your chatbot is performing and what customers are even asking. To find that out, over on the left-hand side within the apps category and under Jotform, let's click into the option for conversations. Here you'll see a list of all the different chats that have taken place. In fact, you could click on view conversation, and you could see the entire back and forth between the customer and the agent. Maybe after you look at the conversation, you decide that you'd like to add more knowledge to your AI agents. Well, you could very easily do that. The way I think of it, it's a very iterative process to build out your AI agent. Now, if a live chat is in progress, when you hover over, you'll also see this button that says take over chat. This lets you jump into the conversation and respond directly as a human. Now, this is perfect for high priority or complex issues. Let's take a moment to talk about pricing. Jotform AI chatbot offers a free starter plan with 100 monthly conversations and 50 voice call minutes. That's great if you're just getting started or maybe you have a smaller store and that might be all you need. As your store grows, you can upgrade to paid tiers. Now, I recommend start with the free plan and only upgrade when volume requires it. It's super flexible. And that's how easy it is to set up a fully automated customer service chatbot for your Shopify store using Jotform AI, and, we didn't have to touch any code. Hopefully, that helps you save time answering common customer questions. If you found this video helpful, give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing for more tutorials like this one. Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one.

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:06.000
Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today, I’ll show you
how to automate your Shopify customer service

00:00:06.000 --> 00:00:12.480
using AI. No coding required. With just a
few steps, you can set up a chatbot that

00:00:12.480 --> 00:00:18.800
answers customer questions, checks inventory,
and helps with orders, all automatically. The

00:00:18.800 --> 00:00:25.200
best part? It's completely free to get started. I
partnered with Jotform to show you how this works

00:00:25.200 --> 00:00:31.360
using their official integration with Shopify.
Let's dive in. Before we begin, you'll need to

00:00:31.360 --> 00:00:37.040
have an existing Shopify store. If you don't have
one yet, I've linked a video in the description

00:00:37.040 --> 00:00:43.360
down below that walks you through how to set up a
store step by step. Now, honestly, Shopify is one

00:00:43.360 --> 00:00:48.400
of the easiest ways to sell products online.
Once you have a store up and running and you

00:00:48.400 --> 00:00:53.520
have some existing products, visit the link right
here at the bottom of the screen. On this page,

00:00:53.520 --> 00:00:59.280
let's click on Get the App. It's free. And right
down below, let's click on Install. Here you'll

00:00:59.280 --> 00:01:03.360
need to give access to the app. This all
looks good. So down below, let's click on

00:01:03.360 --> 00:01:08.800
Install again. Here we need to click on Connect.
Down below, let's click on Allow. Now that we've

00:01:08.800 --> 00:01:15.040
installed the Shopify AI agent, let's get it
set up. If you have an existing Jotform agent,

00:01:15.040 --> 00:01:19.440
you could connect it right here. But for this
video, I'm starting from scratch, so I'll make

00:01:19.440 --> 00:01:23.840
sure to select this item. Down below, let's
click on Next. On this screen, you can choose

00:01:23.840 --> 00:01:29.840
what skills your AI chatbot should have. Right up
on top, I'll make sure to check Product Discovery,

00:01:29.840 --> 00:01:34.800
and right here, Customer Support. Now I find those
are the most useful for answering questions and

00:01:34.800 --> 00:01:39.520
helping customers navigate the store. Now,
if you'd like, you can also check on Order

00:01:39.520 --> 00:01:45.280
Management and also Engagement. That way you could
help track packages or recommend products and also

00:01:45.280 --> 00:01:49.680
promotions. Now keep in mind, you can always come
in and you can add some of these different skills

00:01:49.680 --> 00:01:54.720
later on. Once you make your selection, down at
the bottom, let's click on Next. Up above, you can

00:01:54.720 --> 00:02:00.080
describe what you want the AI chatbot to do. Mine
says, help customers find the perfect cookies and

00:02:00.080 --> 00:02:05.040
treats from the Kevin Cookie Company and also
provide helpful answers to common questions. I

00:02:05.040 --> 00:02:09.520
think that sounds great. Keep in mind, you can go
through, and you can modify all the text that you

00:02:09.520 --> 00:02:15.440
see right here. This sets the tone for how the
chatbot will respond to customers. Once you're

00:02:15.440 --> 00:02:20.720
happy with your prompt, down below, click on
Create. Now that we've created the agent, let's

00:02:20.720 --> 00:02:25.920
look at a few of the personalization options.
This is the fun part now. We can choose an avatar

00:02:25.920 --> 00:02:33.120
that fits your store style. Let's go with this fox
with some cookies. I mean, that's really on brand.

00:02:33.120 --> 00:02:38.880
Then we could give the agent a name. Let's
go with Kevin. And you could also write

00:02:38.880 --> 00:02:44.560
a short role description. I'll go with
Kevin Cookie Company Online Assistant.

00:02:44.560 --> 00:02:49.360
You can also set things like the chat response
length, the default language, tone of voice,

00:02:49.360 --> 00:02:54.240
and even the greeting message. Or on the
right-hand side, we can see a preview of

00:02:54.240 --> 00:03:00.080
our chatbot coming together, and there's that
greeting message. Let's go to the very top and

00:03:00.080 --> 00:03:05.920
then click into the Agent Style tab. The Agent
Style tab lets you customize the look and feel

00:03:05.920 --> 00:03:11.440
of your chatbot to match your brand. Right
here, you can choose a color scheme. I'm going

00:03:11.440 --> 00:03:15.280
to go with this blue option. That's pretty
close to our official brand colors here at

00:03:15.280 --> 00:03:20.560
the Kevin Cookie Company. Down below, you can
also set specific values for the background,

00:03:20.560 --> 00:03:26.560
the chat background, the font, and even the
font color. You can customize the position,

00:03:26.560 --> 00:03:31.600
whether the chat should open by default, and
even add a pulsing effect to the avatar for more

00:03:31.600 --> 00:03:37.440
visibility. Just like we saw on the last screen,
you can preview your changes over on the right.

00:03:37.440 --> 00:03:42.240
Once you're happy with the appearance, let's move
on to training. I'll click on this tab. Training

00:03:42.240 --> 00:03:47.520
just means giving your chatbot the information
it needs to answer questions accurately.

00:03:47.520 --> 00:03:52.400
Jotform does most of this automatically,
but you can also add custom answers if

00:03:52.400 --> 00:03:57.840
needed. Right at the top, we can see that
the agent already has auto-trained knowledge

00:03:57.840 --> 00:04:03.920
by using everything on your store, like all the
items, collections, campaigns, product details,

00:04:03.920 --> 00:04:10.160
and more. You don't need to manually upload
any of this. It's already synced. Of course,

00:04:10.160 --> 00:04:15.680
you can also add more knowledge to your agent.
To do this, let's click on the Manage Knowledge

00:04:15.680 --> 00:04:20.320
button. Here, let's click on Add New Knowledge.
There are all sorts of different ways that you

00:04:20.320 --> 00:04:25.280
could give more knowledge to your agent. Here's
an example. You could add text. You could add a

00:04:25.280 --> 00:04:30.240
website link. You could upload files, Q&A
pairs. You could even add a YouTube video,

00:04:30.240 --> 00:04:34.960
one of my favorites. And down below,
you can add help desk information.

00:04:34.960 --> 00:04:38.720
Chances are, if you have knowledge that you
would like to give to your agent, you'll find

00:04:38.720 --> 00:04:44.480
a way to provide it. Let's try adding some Q&A
pairs. I'll click on this option. On this page,

00:04:44.480 --> 00:04:49.040
I'll type in a question that frequently comes up.
What's your most popular cookie? And down below,

00:04:49.040 --> 00:04:53.040
I'll type in the answer. Of course, it's
the double chocolate chip. Down below,

00:04:53.040 --> 00:04:58.080
I'll click on Save. Let's add one more. Up on
top, I'll click on Add Knowledge. And here,

00:04:58.080 --> 00:05:03.280
let's type in another question. What's your return
policy? I get this question so many times. It'd

00:05:03.280 --> 00:05:07.840
be really nice if the agent could just answer it.
Down below, let's type in the response. And then,

00:05:07.840 --> 00:05:12.560
let's click on Save. I can now go in and continue
adding more knowledge, but I think for now,

00:05:12.560 --> 00:05:17.680
this is fine. Let's now jump back to the Shopify
tab. Now that we've added some knowledge,

00:05:17.680 --> 00:05:22.080
let's scroll down a little bit and we have
another category called Shopify Skills,

00:05:22.080 --> 00:05:28.240
and you could toggle these on or off. For example,
do you want to show or recommend products directly

00:05:28.240 --> 00:05:33.040
in the chat? Would you like to be able to add
and update a customer's cart? Or down below, you

00:05:33.040 --> 00:05:38.800
even have the option to toggle on or off showing
order status to a customer. And if we scroll down

00:05:38.800 --> 00:05:44.240
a little bit more, there's another category called
Agent Skills. Now, you can enable things like Take

00:05:44.240 --> 00:05:50.400
Notes. This way, the chatbot can flag any key
customer issues that you specify. Down here,

00:05:50.400 --> 00:05:55.360
you could also set it up to be able to escalate
to human. Maybe you want to pass a conversation

00:05:55.360 --> 00:06:01.360
to a live agent. You have that option. Now, these
are just two examples of different agent skills.

00:06:01.360 --> 00:06:05.680
Let's have a quick preview at some other skills
that you could add. Let's click here. Here, you

00:06:05.680 --> 00:06:11.520
can see a preview of all the different available
tools. There are many different options. Now,

00:06:11.520 --> 00:06:16.080
one of my favorites right up on top, you could
have your agents create a support ticket using

00:06:16.080 --> 00:06:21.440
Zendesk all automatically. That's pretty
cool. Now that everything is all set up,

00:06:21.440 --> 00:06:27.440
it's time to test it out. Over on the right-hand
side, we can now test out our chatbot. And let's

00:06:27.440 --> 00:06:32.480
try asking a question. Let's say, what's your
return policy? Now, if you remember earlier,

00:06:32.480 --> 00:06:38.080
I added this as knowledge to the chatbot.
Once you type in your question, click on Send.

00:06:38.080 --> 00:06:42.080
And look at that. That's exactly the answer
I would have given and matches the knowledge

00:06:42.080 --> 00:06:47.840
that we provided. That's perfect. Now, this is
a great way to confirm that your AI agent is

00:06:47.840 --> 00:06:53.440
pulling the right data and responding in the tone
that you've configured. If something feels off,

00:06:53.440 --> 00:06:58.880
you can always go back, and you could adjust the
training data or tweak the tone or chat style.

00:06:58.880 --> 00:07:03.440
Once you're all happy with how it's responding,
we're ready to hit publish. Let's scroll to

00:07:03.440 --> 00:07:09.040
the top of the page and here we have the publish
button. Let's click on that. And congratulations,

00:07:09.040 --> 00:07:14.240
your new customer support agent is now live
on your website. Over on the left-hand side,

00:07:14.240 --> 00:07:19.040
I can see that it's currently activated. And here
we could preview what it looks like directly on

00:07:19.040 --> 00:07:24.560
the site. It's looking good. Now, as a next
step, try interacting with it just like your

00:07:24.560 --> 00:07:30.160
customers would. Feel free to ask about product
availability, shipping or returns. This is a

00:07:30.160 --> 00:07:36.080
great chance to see how it performs in context and
then make any final adjustments if needed. Now,

00:07:36.080 --> 00:07:40.960
here's the beautiful part. This is running
on autopilot. Your customers now have instant

00:07:40.960 --> 00:07:47.200
support 24/7. Let's now go back to the main
Shopify dashboard. You're probably interested

00:07:47.200 --> 00:07:53.120
in knowing how your chatbot is performing and what
customers are even asking. To find that out, over

00:07:53.120 --> 00:07:59.120
on the left-hand side within the apps category
and under Jotform, let's click into the option for

00:07:59.120 --> 00:08:04.080
conversations. Here you'll see a list of all the
different chats that have taken place. In fact,

00:08:04.080 --> 00:08:08.880
you could click on view conversation, and you
could see the entire back and forth between the

00:08:08.880 --> 00:08:13.440
customer and the agent. Maybe after you look at
the conversation, you decide that you'd like to

00:08:13.440 --> 00:08:18.400
add more knowledge to your AI agents. Well, you
could very easily do that. The way I think of it,

00:08:18.400 --> 00:08:24.880
it's a very iterative process to build out your
AI agent. Now, if a live chat is in progress,

00:08:24.880 --> 00:08:30.240
when you hover over, you'll also see this button
that says take over chat. This lets you jump into

00:08:30.240 --> 00:08:36.480
the conversation and respond directly as a human.
Now, this is perfect for high priority or complex

00:08:36.480 --> 00:08:43.120
issues. Let's take a moment to talk about pricing.
Jotform AI chatbot offers a free starter plan with

00:08:43.120 --> 00:08:48.160
100 monthly conversations and 50 voice call
minutes. That's great if you're just getting

00:08:48.160 --> 00:08:54.080
started or maybe you have a smaller store and
that might be all you need. As your store grows,

you can upgrade to paid tiers. Now, I recommend
start with the free plan and only upgrade when

00:09:00.000 --> 00:09:06.720
volume requires it. It's super flexible. And

00:09:06.720 --> 00:09:12.320
customer service chatbot for your Shopify
store using Jotform AI, and, we didn't have

00:09:12.320 --> 00:09:18.080

save time answering common customer questions.
